To protect your home, it’s a good idea to remove furniture, decor, and valuables from the work area. We’ll seal off the space with plastic sheeting to control dust and make sure vents in the renovation area are turned off to keep dust from spreading.     During construction, a GC may perform tasks directly or delegate them to trusted subcontractors. At V&M Construction, we take a hands-on approach to ensure the final build meets the exceptional standards we’re known for, keeping your project running smoothly every step of the way.

A Process

  • Reach out via call, email, or our project questionnaire. We’ll discuss your vision, challenges, budget, timeline, and what you’re looking for in a renovation partner. After that, one of our specialists will set up a 15-minute call to explore your goals and how V&M can assist.

  • We'll schedule an in-home visit to understand your needs, lifestyle, and priorities. Together, we'll create a preliminary budget and scope of work, then review and adjust to ensure it aligns with your goals. If needed, we'll explore options to stay within your budget while achieving your vision.

  • Our team visits your home to assess the space, identify challenges, and evaluate structural components. We gather key measurements, photos, and observations to create a custom renovation plan. This step lays the foundation for an accurate design, ensuring a smooth and successful renovation process.

  • We'll finalize the construction agreement by presenting detailed drawings and specifications based on your vision. We'll review product choices, confirm details, and provide a comprehensive agreement outlining costs, timelines, and start dates, ensuring you have a clear understanding of the project and our commitment to your needs.

  • During construction, your Lead Carpenter keeps you updated daily on progress, while the Project Manager coordinates the team and provides weekly updates. Any changes are documented through Change Orders, and a punch list ensures final touches are completed. Communication is prioritized to keep your project on track, on time, and on budget.

  • After your renovation is complete, we’ll check in at 3 days, 3 weeks, and 3 months to ensure everything’s perfect. We offer a one-year labor warranty, with an optional two-year extended warranty. Just reach out to your Project Manager for more details!
